i am saying this very carefully... mine was clicking and i expected it to go poof months ago. i noticed last weekend its not clicking any more. everything still works! So maybe i got lucky or poof is still in the future.
I have a 2020, oct build, and it started clicking in Jan 2024. I took it in before my warranty expired in March 2024, and they replaced the box.

If you do not have an extended warranty (I don't) then I would probably hope it starts doing it again so you can get it replaced under warranty.

I permanently repaired mine for about 40 cents. It’s a tight space to work in, but an hour of effort is well worth saving a few hundred dollars. The actuator is located on the left side of the glove box. You can drop the glove box down by pushing in on both sides and pulling it forward. Move the temperature controls and listen for the clicking so you can spot the module on the left.

The actuator is held in with three screws—two are accessible with the glove box lowered, and the third can be reached from underneath. It helps to wrap your free hand around the glove box to stabilize the screwdriver.

Once the screws are out, pull the plastic bellcrank off and unplug the motor. For the fix, take a small self-tapping screw (I used a sheet-metal screw I had lying around). Ideally, choose a screw small enough that the head will hold the bellcrank securely without causing clearance issues, but large enough that the threads can bite into the center of the plastic motor shaft. Once installed, the bellcrank can’t slip off the shaft again.

Reassemble everything, making sure the metal rod from the door seats properly in the slot on the bellcrank—and that’s it. Better than new.

Both blenders made noise. They replaced the passenger first. Now the driver is noisy, it’s currently at the dealer getting the dash ripped out as I type.
