I did spacers and control arms before I went for the full suspension lift. I honestly didn’t notice much difference. Slightly more stiff than stock but not enough to be a make or break deal for me.Many will have their own opinion but here are the key facts you need to know.
First off if you are looking at a Spacer Kit, just don't..... It will stiffen up the front a bit and can make it where the the upper control arms will contact the chassis more when driving over rough terrain(speed bumps included).
Now if you are looking at replacing the Shocks and Struts, the. You won't have the problems some will claim. You can gain a bit more available travel and help control the ride better with a new set of shocks and struts.
That said I would recommend not going with a leveling kit. Why? Because it will lower the MPG a bit and it will hinder the performance when towing. What I mean by hinder performance is the rear will squat and sit lower than the front when loaded. Not a good thing at all
