I buy whatever I want, whenever I want it for my Ranger. I just tell the wife to shut the hell up.:p
That doesn't work with my wife.

I don't think she understands directions too well.

I once told her to sit down and be quiet, and she didn't do either one of those things...

You're doing it all wrong Dennis. You have to take a more simple approach. :giggle:

Every time the conversation comes up of how many fishing rods or stuff for hunting do you need? My response is how many pairs of shoes do you really need. Then we both laugh about it lol. When you work hard for your money you have to enjoy it.
Truth! Wifey has about 300 pairs of shoes. All our extra closets are full of her clothes. I have one closet to myself, and it's not a big one. I don't even think we can have guests stay over any more, because they wouldn't have any place to put stuff.

I have a small sliver of space lol. Best part is a bunch of the stuff still has the tags on it lol.

Is there any home where it’s always open discussion about how much money and on what purpose exactly you really spend on your Ranger? And you can do with your Ranger whatever you like?
Maybe I have missed useful tips thread “how to explain why I need something to my truck and when it’s done, I need something more”?
Heck as long as it fits your budget and fair (if the other person wants mods /repairs on their vehicle) and someone doesn't get left behind I'm okay with it. Maybe you get new tires and wheels and they get a PC or a new shotgun or whatever. Be different if someone is spending rent /utilities/food money on toys, partying and such then I would say something if that makes sense.

Also, as long as there is not a child dependant on getting food, clothing or other necessities, tell 'em to shut the hell up.

When my retirement check hits the account we put 2/3 towards bills and credit card and I get a 3rd to spend as I see fit. Sometimes it's mods, sometimes it's a surprise for her and sometimes it's for repairs/ upkeep on the house. When I have money left it doesn't disappear

This could go in this thread or the jokes thread or both!

Why are divorces so expensive?

Because they are worth every penny ?
What to you tell your wife when she asked for money?

"Shut the hell up"! ? ?

Na actually neither of us asks, we have a budget and we stick to it, and if the credit card creeps up too high we reel it in and pay it off the next month or sooner so we don't pay interest. We used the Best Buy card for 90% of our Christmas spending because we had 18 months no interest, it's almost paid off already.

Ya just have to communicate, it's not rocket science.

If one half is being controlling just because they can, well it's probably time to reevaluate things.
