Anyway. Working in structural manufacturing and a weld fab shop, I can tell you THOSE engineers have never work in a fab. Confusing drawing, weld impossible to get to, dimensions that won't fit a motor, impossible tolerances. I've seen some drawings for a weldment of 1" plate, where they call out 0.020" final tolerances AFTER welding.
