Why's that? Just curious
We have lots of days with temps at 110*+, many over 115* in the spring/summer/fall.
I don't want green goo all over my truck.

For some reason the heat never affected those ducks! I had several Jeeps in my neighborhood and both had their dashboards littered with those stupid ducks. I was hoping to see them melted all over the dash but that never happened. :(

I didn't know either and just looked it up. I was surprised to see this is relatively new and just started in 2020. ?

The Origins of Jeep Ducking
The story of Jeep Ducking starts in July 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The world was going through an incredibly challenging time, with people feeling isolated, stressed, and disconnected from one another. Amid this backdrop, a Canadian woman named Allison Parliament unintentionally started what would become a global movement.

Allison was traveling from Alabama back to her home in Ontario when she had an unpleasant encounter at a gas station. Feeling upset and wanting to turn her day around, she decided to do something lighthearted and fun.

She spotted another Jeep in the parking lot and placed a small rubber duck on it as a joke. Along with the duck, she left a note that simply said “Nice Jeep.”

What happened next surprised her. The owner of the Jeep found the duck and was overjoyed by the unexpected gesture. Their reaction inspired Allison to share the experience on social media using the hashtag #DuckDuckJeep.

To her amazement, her post quickly went viral, and people from all over began replicating her act of kindness. What started as one small moment of positivity snowballed into an international phenomenon.

well that is just wrong as I have seen a number of Jeeps that are plain ole UGLY , smothered in ducks. it seems to me that a good number of people have NO taste for aesthetics ( what looks good for those that dont know what aesthetics means ). I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but there must be a lot of people that need eye exams !!!

Don't get me started - why someone thinks this is a good look is beyond me - kind of like the "my wheels and tires are way undersized for my truck and stick 8" outside the wheel wells - look at me!!!!" look. It never ceases to amaze me what people will spend money on.

The ducks are primarily a JK/JL/JT thing.

The guys with TJs don't care for them and either give them to friends or put them on a different vehicle.
