so if they dont work in cold or heat that takes texas out of the tesla game. we get two seasons here. hot, cold.

I'll take "cold" over "freezing" any day.

You should know about the Texas Power grid failure in February 2021.

And the 100+ car pile up near Dallas around the same time. All account of freezing weather.

It gets down to a frosty 62 degrees here.
We call that "patio weather"; a few years back, there was a restaurant that went up in flames in Toronto, and the picture in the newspaper the next day showed the building on fire in the background, with people sitting on the patio a couple of doors down in the foreground (I looked, but I couldn't find it online). We take our "patio weather" very seriously; when it only lasts the blink of an eye, everything else be damned!
