Yup, my Dads '78 cost him $7500 cdn.
he lost his shit when I bought my first F150 in 2002 at almost 4 times that value.
I have a buddy that has a 1972 F250 TuTone Blue & White 4x4 4 speed manual, its sitting in his garage he bought new in 72, he won't sell it to me, I want it!

Looking at the prices it pretty much means that standard 3% inflation rate for up to 70's and then 5% afterwards.

Comes out at 30984$ for the 2022. Which is bad for marketing, so they'll cut the low end model to 29,995$ by removing something.

My guess is a few bed tiedowns and the light behind the shifter...

I paid around $7200 in 1977 for a new Ford F150, two-tone blue 2WD supercab with 8' bed. It had the highest HP available at the time in a F150 (I can remember what though). I used to to pull my horse trailer when I was showing horses.

I remember my husband buying new Ford F150 about every 2 or 3 years in the 80's and he would pay around $16,000 - $18,000 loaded up 4WD. I can remember the next step up after XLT, but I'm thinking they were Lariats.
