Headlights peeling? Anyone see this on your ranger?

I also had my headlights covered with clear vinyl when they wrapped the front end. 5 1/2 years and they look like new.

I actually noticed my headlights are peeling on the tops a couple weeks ago. I like the idea of applying some vinyl up there if it gets worse.

My old EP3 had this happen… the clear turned yellow, too. I would restore them once a year by sanding and polishing, and sealing them. I finally had them re-clear coated by a body shop. My car was 18 years old, so not really exactly the same thing.

True, and worse, the truck is parked out in it a lot of the time. You should see my outer door rubbers. First they go light grey, then they just start to crumble.

Don’t let them sit in the sun! Better yet, use some 303… or is it 404?
