Wow that’s a lot. When I bought my ranger I had to order it and they didn’t know anything about them, so the dealer and I didn’t know it didn’t come with push to startI have actually priced this out with my local dealer. They will not install it for me but worked with me to find all the parts. It took several visits and I think we may have missed a few parts. The parts alone was close to $1800 and a local shop that specializes in automotive electrical quoted me $2000 and it would take a few weeks to complete. In addition, the dealer warned me it would void parts of the warranty. I will see if I can find the parts list but I think I tossed it because the $3800 and voided warranty was not worth it. I could take the money and just go buy a new Lariat.
I am leasing my 2020 Ranger XLT 4x2 with plans to buy out at the end. However, I am now considering turning or trading in for a newer Ranger when the lease ends in 2023. I will likely choose a 4x4 Lariat or maybe an EV Ranger if available.
