My company was purchased by another company and we have a new set of holiday policies. And for the first time ever, I have President's day off. BTW, my new parent company has headquarters in Germany. Hahah.

Seems like the only time I want to go to the bank is when they’re off for another nonholiday.

Well, as one who works for a bank it has a down side. We don't get Christmas Eve or the day after Thanksgiving off..... All my other companies I worked for we did get those days, but banks can't be closed more than one working day in a row. (Sundays excluded I guess) So we get a few "other" holidays a year, but it isn't much more than most companies I don't think.
