I'll be looking for the free food deals today
Me too. So far I've gotten about $37 of free stuff. Going to BWW after work for free wings and fries.
I gave some, some gave all.

Reality it would be nightmare to prove if you did or did not serve for employers and there will always be that one "person" who would complain about it.
It took a little leg work, but my veteran status is now on my driver's license.

If you served you should get this day off with pay IMO, yes I'm biased lol.

It wouldn't be hard. I still have my DD-214 and have had to show it on several occasions to prove my veteran status.

Yeah,
I worked at place where the owner would take us vets out for lunch and a few cold ones then get the rest of the day off paid.

yes there was that one person that complained. So the next year he quietly told us vets to meet at the lunch location and don’t clock out he will sign us out for the day. No company wide announcement.

That one person was extremely agitated but couldn’t do a damn thing about it because it was not company sponsored. 😂

I still have mine and also have my veteran card from the VA. Since I'm retired in helps at Lowe's and Home Depot.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
I forget what website I had to register with as it was years ago. But Lowe’s and HD, I just entered my cell # while paying and get the veterans discount.
