My Ford pass app quit showing me the remote start and door lock/ unlock functions. It says my garage is empty. When I click the add vehicle prompt and then give the requested VIN number. It says that vehicle already exists. Went to my dealer and they couldn't figure it out and suggested I call Ford. Well it seems that Ford pass got an update and the phone required for that (android) has to be at least version 8.0 or better. My old droid phone is a version 6. So I ordered a new droid with version 9. Hopefully that will work.

Trivia:

Motorola was rolled into a couple companies, one of which is "Motorola Mobility," which while HQ'd in Chicago, is owned, fully, by Lenovo which is a Chinese company. It's had a history of controversy regarding privacy.
