I clicked on it but didn't get into it. I heard on talk radio this is a flawed statistic....They had to include 19 an 20 year olds in the total to get to their goal of number one cause of death.

if you read the report it is for sure skewed. the sources cited for this "report" are anit gun.

This is actually old news. The first time I had some interest in the gun my search turned this up.

It doesn't matter because they can invent anything they want, or just lie to your face. First the usual suspects are given $0 bail despite knowing they are low IQ and violent so they can shoot each other. Then some fake doctor is told to say the same "gang culture" pushed by fake gangsters is now a "health crisis" so another fake doctor whose last name might start with "F" can declare some pseudo-martial law gun lockdown. That way the 2nd doesn't apply because it's an "emergency".

Oh and by the way guess who ran the NWA? Is wasn't Ice Cube or Dr Dre, it was this guy. ?

somewhere there's a breakdown of the gun deaths in the US that shows more than half are suicide. of the remaining 90% are gang related (including innocent bystander victims).

There was a drive by shooting on West 6th not long ago in Cleveland. It's a nicer area with trendy bars and restaurants. A group on the sidewalk were targeted an like 6 were hit. Of course the gun hating mayor (not crime hating) blamed the guns an the Ohio Constitutional carry law for making it easy for law abiding citizens to carry. When the guys were caught neither were eligible to own or carry a firearm. I knew that would be the case. In the 20 years of CCW here I only know of one case where the person carrying acted illegally. There may be cases but my guess is not many because they'd be highlighting them to repeal it.

I've been carrying concealed for 15+ years and have never been close to drawing my weapon. Most of that is due to staying out of sketchy looking areas, avoiding poorly lit areas, etc. Being stationed in Turkey in 90-91, we were taught about situational awareness, paying attention to what's going on and who's around you. Just being aware of your surroundings will keep you alive and even cause some unsavory characters to avoid you.

I'm also pretty sure being 6'5", 250 lbs helps too....
