One of my neighbors is a handyman by trade. We hang out often showing off our various projects to each other. Well I get off duty this morning and after about an hour in the house I'm like "WTF why is it so warm in here?" I'm hunting and searching for the source and turns out my outside A/C unit fan was not running. I catch him before he leaves for work and being the all knowing wizard of everything handyman diagnoses it lickity split as more than likely the fan motor or capacitor.

With it being Friday I was dreading the price tag and wait time to have my A/C restored. He sent me to the local appliance warehouse, had me name drop him to the manager, and I walked out with the needed parts.

What was about to be a ruined weekend only cost me $130.00 to restore law and order to the climate in my house.

Talk about a God send. The labor rate for HVAC repairmen is astronomical.

By the time I woke up my house was at 87 degrees. Only reason I was able to sleep is because I stuck a box fan right in my face next to the bed.
