Anybody know if the new Ranger 2019+ has the Fuel control module mounted directly on a cross member like he mentions on this video?
Don't have my truck in yet......his idea of spacers is great to prevent premature issues!

That I am aware of the fuel pump control module is not on the frame whatsoever. I want to say it is part of the PCM on these

It is indeed mounted on a cross member close to the gas tank. Can't tell which crossmember exactly form the picture in the catalog but its definitely mounted to one.

Thanks.
When my truck gets delivered, I will check under when they prep it and see if this spacer thing will apply.
I'll post back in September when I supposedly get my truck...

Just curious, what catalog are you looking at? Can you post a page?

So, fun side story (sorry @P. A. Schilke - it's my turn). I had this issue on my F-150, but not in the traditional sense.

I was prepping my '04 F-150 with a spare tire (bought it used and it didn't have one) because I was driving 12 hours from Michigan to Philly and while working underneath the truck I saw something that was corroded and split apart, but I didn't have any symptoms of something being broken. I wound up taking it to a forum to identify (https://www.f150forum.com/f4/what-207080/index3/).

This is what it looked like on the truck when I noticed it:

And here's the old vs. new.

People are still surprised when I tell them I had no issues with fuel delivery or driving or anything. The replacement came with spacers you can see to prevent this from happening in the future.
