They are blackGreat! That would be my choice.
Can you let me know what color they are? They look like a light to medium gray in some pics.

Looks great, I will have to remove the go rhino ad on them when I install mine.Well, after really thinking about it, I went with the RB20s over the oem running boards.

Tough to remove as the ad is riveted on. I was thinking about painting it black.Looks great, I will have to remove the go rhino ad on them when I install mine.
Drill out the rivets, it’ll take you 20 seconds per side.Tough to remove as the ad is riveted on. I was thinking about painting it black.
If they were powder-coated properly they’ll be no imprint left. And we’re talking about holes that are 3/16” at the largest. If you need a drill bit larger than 1/8” I would be surprised. And you can buy plastic hole plugs from an auto parts store. Anyway, I would advise against spray painting it black, as it would take numerous coats plus a clear coat if you hope for it to last for over a year or two. And good luck not getting overspray on your running boards and silver truck.Drilling the rivets out will leave holes to fill and maybe the rectangular tag imprint on the board.
I agree. I drilled mine out. Use about a 1/4" bit. Don't drill all the way through!! Just enough to remove the rivet head. They are aluminium and very soft. The holes left are 1/8" and you would have to be looking close to see them. Maybe I will get a picture tomorrow. If they were powder-coated properly they’ll be no imprint left. It’s your truck, I’m just trying to save you some hassle. Cheers.
