Gibson Catback or Just muffler exchange make much difference already have Unleased Tune

Title says it all does a Cat back system from Gibson the dual one make much difference beside sound ? I already have a custom tune from unleased

I head just change the muffler to like a magnaflow give about the same results ?

BTW i got a 2021 Lariat FX4

I'm thinking of doing a muffler exchange. Seen a few videos of a flowmasterfx 10 that sounds pretty good as well as the flowmaster 40 for a more subdued sound.

It will mostly change the sound.

Sound will be the bog change. Will overall performance increase? Absolutely because you are removing a restriction wich is a big no no for turbochargers. Will you gain 100HP? No bit you have the potential for 10HP.

My perception is that a free flowing exhaust - depending on design (big downpipe or post catalytic converter or less restrictive muffler(s)/all of the above)will change the shape of the torque and horsepower curves.

I just swapped the muffler for a Magnaflow and Its sounds great and it turbo spool much faster with my tune.
