Wanted to wait to post until I could truly try these new light bars out at night.

Verdict is... GG lighting came through! I got two double row 6" light bars that I made custom mounts for and installed on either side of my adaptive cruise. Wired up to a simple switch under the dash. These have great projection and flood lighting as each light has spots in the middle and floods on each side. A good add for one light set that accomplishes a big spread. I found myself lighting up not only mysurroundings but even the trees that sat 50+ feet in the air, really giving a full picture of my surroundings. Mountain ranges way out in the distance were hit as well. I'll have to go back and take some pictures of the actual light projection next.

Install was relatively simple, aside from thinking about how to do the mounts which I'll be happy to share more about if there is interest. Wired these up to each other via the included relay, direct to battery with all wires tucked behind the grill. Switch wires go through the firewall grommet with a custom button setup below the dash.

Love the results!

Those look great on your Ranger!
Do you have a link from where you ordered them? How difficult was the install?

Thank you! Attaching link below. Also on their site were the snap on covers which I also bought in black. Overall I've had harder installs. The brackets I put together were all custom which require a few tools, what came with the lights didn't quite fit in that narrow gap below the grill. As far as wiring, it's all very simple. They include a relay and wiring harnesses, so it's pretty simple. I can write a more detailed install if you want.

Nice job! May I ask where the firewall access is? I have to run a main power line thru and also going to wire a set of these (or similar) lights up. Thanks.

Nice! It's below the dash towards the very front left by your left foot. You'll see a big rubber grommet and wiring harness. That runs between your cab and the engine bay. So you'll have to grommet punch (BE VERY CAREFUL, I cut it too close for comfort when I punched through), and run a feeder wire through the grommet punch tool, then pull your wires back through.

Thank you. I’ll keep an eye on the other wires as I go thru.

I just installed some floods 2x2 in that same area. Instead of a grommet punch, I used a wire coat hanger and pushed it through the grommet from the I side. I went to the left of the hood release cable as a diagram I found showed there is a channel there with enough clearance for additional wires. Then I electrical taped my wire to the hanger and carefully pulled it through. Was very easy once I figured out the grommet situation.
