If you hold the + for like 5 - 10 seconds, it goes back to auto shifting. I use manual all the time getting on the interstate and then back to auto shift until I'm in a good spot. Then usually back to D for cruising.

My wife accidentally hit the +/- switch in her mustang and pulled over and thought her engine blew up !My salesman never told me and at some point I accidentally hit the +. Now I'm going up a steep onramp like a bat out of hell in 2nd gear waiting for it to shift and approaching red line. lol I just bumped it back up into D and once home came on here and searched and found out you now have to keep pressing the +.
