Install with no issues , but I’m left with this foam strip with adhesive backing. No instructions on where it goes , any ideas?
The video had a tailgate weather strip but this can’t be it, it’s a POS, but i suppose you get what you pay for!
Other than that , for $200 it was a no brainer solution until I’m ready to drop a grand or 2 on a flush solution

Save it for a rainy day. Literally. Look where the cover leaks. Most likely the bulkhead. Then apply it there.

That goes on the bulkhead. It was a separate paper for the bulkhead instructions.

...and for less than $200 it certainly is not a POS in my opinion.

Edit: It's in Step 1 of the Bulkhead instructions. If you left it out, I doubt you'll have any issues. It looks like it is to not have metal on metal and is just there to prevent rubbing, not necessarily as a water deterrent.
