I have a Gator Soft Trifold Tonneau on my 2021 Ranger SuperCrew.
I damaged it slightly this week and was wondering if anyone had disassembled theirs and what the project was like.
I bent the bow that is the one closest to you when standing at the tailgate. It actually isn't a bow, but a cross member that holds the seals against the tailgate top when everything is closed up.
The bend is inward slight and up slightly, enough that it creates a small gap. The top material is pretty snug, so I really can bend the member down and back enough to straighten it. It looks like I will have to take the cover material off the frame, at least in the rear of the tonneau, to free up the bar and allow me to straighten it.
It would be really helpful if anyone having taken their cover off the frame could opine.
If it is not possible or really hard, I likely will just replace it as it is $300 retail.
Thanks much.
