Front USB port illumination

Ok I never noticed this before and never used my two front USB ports. Today I Put a usb flash drive in the USB port with music on it. Now I noticed when I shut the truck off, exit and shut the door the dome lights fade out as they should but the two USB ports remain illuminate. Is this normal? Will they shut off eventually? Also it doesn’t matter if something is plugged into the ports or not.

I never noticed, but I think the ports turn off after some time (20 minutes maybe) so I assume the lights go off too.

Thanks, I’ll check it in a couple hours. I just never noticed them stay on before. Seems weird to me. Does anything else stay on?

I think most stuff turns off after X time.

Well turns out it shuts off after just about 10 minutes. Weird if you ask me.

I have my dash cams plugged into USB. I don't mind it, but thats just me

Yeah I don’t mind it. It just seemed weird and I never noticed it before

you will re-do this whole process of watching them too.....

Oh great that will make my ocd go crazy. i never noticed them either. How long do they stay on?
