Are the front struts the same between 2wd and 4x4? Looking at pictures isnt doing me much good.
I have a 19 XL. Some time back, i put the eibach loweringkit on and, have decided to go back to stock.

I ask because some orgs list different stuff for 2x and 4x and others just list one part number

I am assuming that you mean leveling kit, not lowering kit.

No, I meant it. I put the lowering kit on it. Well, just the front and never got around to lowering the rear as I didnt want ot get into modifying the exhaust.

I do see that the strut hat is the same part number from ford. Just wondering if I can put the 4x4 struts on as finding the 2x quick strut is proving difficult.

EDIT**
Belltech. I meant belltech.

Im an idiot

Simple answer is yes. For the most part it's the same as it's the spring that does the job for holding the load up. The strut more or less controls the load when moving up and down. Just keep in mind that it would be better not to have a longer strut if you did a lowering kit

Im replacing the struts all together. The lowering kit, for the front, changes the strut so the spring seat sits lower.
Thank you for the info
