Looking for info, ideas, or advise....

Under heavy breaking the front end is diving down, what if anything can be done to lessen this effect ?
30k miles driven so far

Thanks in advance.

Is this your first vehicle? Every vehicle does this due to weight transfer.

Many of us have upgraded the front/rear suspensions to make that "dive" go away.
I have the Ford/Fox 2" leveling kit. Made a world of difference in the handling.
There are others way more knowledgeable than I here that can give you excellent alternatives to help you fix that.

I was wondering that too...

All vehicles do this. Even my first sh!tbox XJ i lifted on F150 coils nose dived when a deer ran out, and that thing rode like a BRICK!

The FX4 Ranger is more noticeable with the softer suspension. You'll need to upgrade the front to handle the sudden weight transfer. Like the others, firmer shocks make a world of difference! I myself am waiting on the Bilsteins to come back in stock so I can do my front end lift.

I could see upgrading for other reasons (leveling, lifting) and getting the benefit of less dive, would never consider spending the money just to reduce the dive in the rare emergency braking situation.

Ford Performance Fox 2.0 kit. One of the best mods you can do for this truck. It almost levels the front, better handling, better off-road performance ect. I spent about 2k on the equipment and install.

Fox rear shocks helped a lot with dive.

Actually I was quite surprised how much rear shocks helped with the dive. I didn’t like it either.
