Hi all new to the forums here.
I was pretty disappointed with the fx4 performance - felt too bouncy and floaty for my liking. So opted for the Fox stage 1 performance kit which I’ve been much happier with.
I use a camper on the back quite often weighs around 1100 lbs. Truck handles it well but in anticipation of getting it I had ordered the OME 2.2” leaf kit. I haven’t installed them yet, as I read something that concerned me that the travel of the rear fox shocks could max out or even exceed if I add that much lift in the rear.
Hoping the great minds here with far more experience with this kind of thing can help me out. Is this a bad idea for when the truck is unloaded? I’m assuming it’d be fine when loaded down just potentially a problem if unloaded and hitting maximum suspension travel in the rear?
Thank you for your time!
