The Ecoboost Mustang has always had a boost gauge. The non performance versions it was one of the gauge choices in the digital display between the tach and speedo. If you had the performance package you got a real gauge in the center of the dash with an oil pressure gauge next to it. It was pretty useless since it was not angled toward the driver and the needle sweep was only 180 degrees in 5 degree increments. On my 17 Ecoboost Mustang I used ForScan to activate the one in the display between the tach and speedo. It was a 270 degree sweep and had 2 degree increments.Every boosted vehicle I have owned, came with a boost gauge, except the Ranger. Some weren't very accurate, and none included a vacuum reading. Both boost and vacuum can tell you a lot, if you know what to look for. That is why I added a boost gauge to my 2019 Ranger.
Interestingly enough, the original Mustang Eco-Boost didn't have one either, but my 1979 Turbo Mustang did. Go figure.
FWIW, other than the Ranger the only other turbo vehicle I have owned in the past 35 years that did not have one was a PT Cruiser GT turbo we had.
