Hi guys I have changed quite a bit of stuff with Forscan successfully but I recently changed the right side dash screen so that I can access the climate settings and when I try changing the temperature or fan speed it doesn't change and within a second or so it goes back to showing what the center screen is displaying. Like if my temp is at 70 and I click down to 69 it just rests back to 70. Anyone have any ideas about this?

maybe there's a reason it wasn't turned on for the ranger?

Hmmm, I added it to the screen also but haven't tried to change any settings on it. Was just putting it there for visual so can't help.

not sure why it's not activated from the factory. I have seen some that don't even have navigation on the small dash screen only the main one and have seen people with fusions that only had entertainment or entertainment and navigation as well. I changed all of those vehicles screens for those people to show all four and theirs all worked fine so I'm not sure whats going on with mine. Really I can't see any reason why this feature wouldn't be active from the factory unless they are worried about people being distracted but really using the right screen is safer than the main screen.

I can verify mine does the same thing, but still nice to have the temp there.

Ahh thanks for the confirmation. Sucks though I much prefer changing the temp and fan speed at the wheel. My Fusion had it and it's one of those things that drive me crazy without it. I don't understand why they hide it on certain vehicles to begin with it's safer than looking down to the main screen.

Mine does exactly the same thing. I can see the climate settings (for the driver only) but cannot actually change anything on that right screen.

Ya it drives me crazy I don't understand why they wouldn't include this stock it's a much safer way of changing the climate than looking and reaching over to the screen and it's already there so why not include it as another feature.

I'm one of the many that lost climate controls with Sync 3.4. I received my cable last week, made the changes that have been recommended in the forum, and things are finally back to normal.

But wait... I can now control my temp in the right side of the instrument cluster. The Fan has the same up and down arrows, but when I move over there, it doesn't work. Fine with me as long as I can control the temp! I know I'm not supposed to be able to do that, but it works. Shhhhhh....
