I could see myself swapping one of these into something like an 89 Mercury Cougar LS that was born with a 3.8 V6.

Man, I don't know about this. Half the fun is firing up the old v8 beast of an engine and listening to that burble coming out of the pipes.
Sure , for cars that had smaller engines, I get it. But for me I would be swapping IN an old v8.

Maybe that's just me though....
