So you got 42000 Ford Pass Rewards Points when you bought your new Ranger.
So did I or so I thought.
I decided to use my points for a few accessories but when I checked my Ford Pass Rewards points on the Ford Pass App I saw that I had 0 (that's a zero folks) points. WTF! So I dug further in the app and found that my points were moved to pay for service. No problem I thought, I bought and paid for a deluxe Ford Service Plan when I bought the truck (I'm old and of broken body so I prefer not to climb under a vehicle and get oil and stuff all over me to say nothing of the pain it causes my wrecked body.)
So I head to my Dealer talk to the parts folks and they tell me I have to work it out with Service and Sales but they went ahead and ordered my parts ($237 worth before taxes.) I get together with Service and they send me to sales. My sales Guy says that the points are gone but if nothing else he will make it "right" (Great Guy.)
Well I end up with the Sales Manager and he explains that the points were used to deduct $240 from my service package the day I bought the truck and it seems the Finance guy neglected to mention it, that and the fact that it took months for the points to be removed from my account wasn't right and that the Dealership would eat the cost of my parts as well as the tax. Salesman and I took the P.O. to parts and they will call me when they arrive.

I am pleased... :)

Give it a week or 2 and you will see your points. It took over a week before I got mine.

Some responses to threads make me think the posters don’t read...

Glad the dealership took care of you and I hope the shady finance guy gets reprimanded. How many others might he have done that to; ya know?

I still don’t understand how you use them. You have to go to the dealership?

Something tells me the OP's problem is going to become more common with time. Dealers will swipe up the points for discounted plans/accessories without telling the customer what's really happening. Should work out in the end (assuming the dealer is giving you full value) but you'll have people going "wtf where'd my points go?"

The Finance Guy is actually a pretty good person, he just thought he was doing a good thing using the points to discount my Service Package for me.
They told me that he now gives the Buyer the option before he does it and most opt to take the discount.
Think about it, how many of Y'all haven't done squat with your points?
So if you have your points, head on down to your Friendly Ford Dealer's Parts Department and get something you want and save some out of pocket cash in the mean time. :)

I wish I got the points, those of us that got our Pre-Order's before 4/2/19 didn't get the points. Even though the FordPass and points system came out around that time. I fought several times and never got them.
