So I used my Ford points to buy 2 swing case toolboxes and had them delivered to my house. One of the tool boxes arrived damaged. I called Ford Accessories and they had me FedEx the toolbox back and they would reimburse me points/cash. My fedex tracking number says the return was delivered on January 30 but I don't have any confirmation that it has been processed nor have my points been reimbursed nor any debit made to my CC card i used for the purchase.

I called late last week and the person said it could take 30 days for me to get my refund.

Anyone else have similar experience? I mean, 30 days just seems ridiculous. They just have to open the box and scan the RMA sheet that's in the box.

I had a similar experience. I called and the person on the other end confirmed I had waited long enough, but had to check on something, they took my phone number. About 15 minutes later the same person actually called me back and said I should have received the refund in FordPass points by then so she had authorized a credit to my account. The points appeared immediately.

About 30 MORE days later I got my refund - and I still have 2x points.

I recommend you just stay on top of this.

Well I guess I feel better now knowing they don't have their act together. Thanks for the reply.

Ford Accessories is running a 15% sale that ends at the end of the month. I really wanted this to be taken care of so I could reorder using my ford points with the 15% discount.

Why I have the accessories delivered to my local dealership. Fortunately, nothing has arrived damaged so I don't know how much that has helped....

On 11/17/23 I accidently ordered a grille that was $250. I thought I was saving it for later. I was planning to use points to pay for it but, since I had ordered through them before, it got charged to my credit card. I tried to cancel the order early the next morning and they said I had passed the one hour time limit to cancel. They said I would have to contact the dealer where the part was going to be delivered. I did and was told by the parts manager that they stopped participating in their program because of too many problems with customer orders. The part was never delivered to the dealer. On 1/7/24 I received three emails from Ford, one right after the other. First one said the order had been fulfilled. Second one said an RMA# had been issued. Third one said the part had been returned and I would receive an email letting me know when to expect my refund. A month went by and nothing. I called the over a week ago and explained to the service representative what was going on. After about half an hour on the phone he said he would get it taken care of and gave me a reference number. I got a voice mail last week from a lady stating she was working on it and would get back to me at a later date. Sorry for such a long response but I've been dealing with trying to get my $250 back from them for three months now and still have not seen a credit on my card.

Most companies devote very very few people to dealing with defects and refunds.

Its been more than 30 days and still no refund. I called and they are opening an "investigation". Suppose to get a call back within 5 business days. WTF is there to investigate? They know I sent the package back and it was signed off by Ford receiving. Incompetence knows no bounds.

Must start an investigation to investigate why the investigation into the investigation was not done in a timely manner.
The investigation will revele that another investigation is needed in order to determine who needs to be under investigation to find out who is at fault.....
