I can see the electric one being far less messy.

I'm springing for the $20 bucks.

When I add the tax and the Mishimoto pan I bought this morning, that puts it right around $300 for the day.

Oh wait, I bought the running boards from @OFC Ranger this morning so I'm now over $400.

I think I should log out for a while.
Don't forget a new filter and 10 qts of fluid !!!
For me, fluid is up in the air...only 19,000 miles and it's still bright red....maybe reuse it, add a few quarts and change it around 25,000 miles.

This thing works well and it's cheap, I just use 1/4 or 3/8 nylon hose depending upon what I'm working on, and it's easy to clean out.

Did you use the smaller black dipstick tube extension that is included or different hose? Fit doesn't seem very secure with the tapered adapter for the smaller hose.

I used this pre-Fitzstick to change trans fluid, orange hoses moved fluid pretty quick.

I just used the orange hose with a piece of that stiff 3/8 nylon hose inside.

If anyone is wondering, I went to our local Harbor Freight and picked up one of these for $5.00.
Works great.....in prep for my pan and trans fluid install, I tried it on some water and it works just fine. For a simple pump, and a one time use, get it to pump the old fluid out...no need to get a fancy pump....this one works !!!
Pan comes in Dec 1, and Valvoline ULV comes in from NAPA on Wed, so I'm ready to go.

Any recommendations for a small fluid pump to drain trans fluid via Mike's Fitzstick ???
There's thousands of them...hand, battery, electric, on Amazon.....just wondering what you have used with success.
Figure I'll use it the one/first time to drain before I install a new deep pan with a drain plug, so it dosen't have to be top quality or expensive.
I’m surprised some of you smart, young fellows haven’t bored and tapped a spigot thing on that trans pan. Bet some of you guys have thought of that. Good luck.

Thought about that looong ago, but....
Most "self tapping" spigots would not provide a secure seal due to the moulding of the OE pan.
To do a proper drain point or add a leak proof spigot, you'd still have to remove the pan to access the inside to secure the drain against leaks.
So, pretty much either way you'd still have to drain it.
I even thought of simply drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the plastic pan to drain as I'm not going to reuse it....but thought I might someday replace the Mish pan with the OE when/if I sell Truck....so, no drilling.
Oh, I'm Not Smart and Young.....but Old and Wise !!!
