Is anyone else always hitting the toe of their boot on the floor duct when using the brakes? I'm thinking about trimming it back a couple inches. It's annoying

Guess I should have searched first. I'll have to check the other threads out for some tips. Thanks

I've had my Ranger just under two weeks. The duct modification was the first thing I did after driving to work for the first time in it. Some narrow tin snips do a real nice job. I trimmed just short of an inch off and replaced the plastic expander screw thing with a real nut and bolt. Remember there is a duct temperature sensor attached to the duct.

I measured mine in another thread. 9.5 inches to the carpet. Hacked mine off within a few days of of ownership.

Either some people have really small feet or they do the old farmer bottom corner sideways foot braking.
