Floor boards soaking (carpets dry) video

Hi everyone,

I purchased a ford ranger a few months again second hand (1 previous owner).

Yesterday I went to clean the inside and I noticed there was the slightest bit of condensation on the underside of one of the mats so I did a little bit of digging and found the drivers side ‘underlay’ (It’s like a rubber mat with underlay stuck to it) was soaking wet from behind the pedals to the rear footwell. Passengers side was wet too but not as much. The water is clear and odourless) hint of blue as the underlay is a bit blue).

Is there a common issue I can check? It must be rainwater? It could have been there a while.

i think someone else had a similar issue. i cant remember what the outcome was but hopefully some attention to the thread will get some answers for you soon

I believe a few on here have had windshield leaks in the lower corners, passenger side is usually AC related , but both sounds like the big window in front , unless the previous owner hosed it out and it never got a chance to dry...

Thanks for the replies, I contacted the previous owner who said the windscreen was replaced due to a crack a few months before he sold it.
Looking at the screen it’s not aligned very way. I’m hoping they have some kind of warranty that covers it
