Hey guys this is my first post.

I am doing a magnetic Lariat fx4 with chrome and tow package and dealer installed spray on bed liner, Rough Country 2.5 inch leveling kit and a set of BFG KO 285/65/18 tires. (going through the dealer means i pay no taxes etc for the parts and labor).

What is the step height going to be?....am i going to need running boards? I am 5'9 but the regular running boards seemed like a joke with the vehicle being so low compared to my raptor...the factory running board kits on stock ranges seem more like ankle biters than anything actually useful.

Now that decided to do larger tires and a 2.5 leveling I am wondering if i will also legit need aftermarket boards.

If so...which ones look best with the chrome package? No pics truck is on order and isnt even here yet.

I'm about 5'9 as well. I have 265/70-17s with the 2.5 RC kit. It's not terrible getting in, but I'd much rather have running boards. They're next on my list. My wife pretty much has to grab the oh shit handle and jump in and then slide out at 5'4.

I have the ready lift 3” on my fx4. I’m 5’6” the gf is 5’. No problems helping her in the truck by grabbing her butt
