Same here, but then what do you do for the other 5%?
I have friends with trucks that could handle the other 5%. Or with the $10k or more savings I could (as others have said) rent a truck and still have a lot of pizza and beer money left over. Or do as the Navy taught me and buy my friends pizzas and beers after we use their trucks. ?

Just saw several Mavericks being used for company trucks, they look good.

this is where you will see many end up...the small truck segment for business is huge.
From delivery services, to landscapers, and beyond. the business' that will find it cost effective will be endless.
^This exactly.

The Maverick's combination of utility and MPG, especially the hybrid, is a dream come true for local utilities, pest control companies, etc. The list is endless.

Based on how well the Maverick is doing in sales, the Santa Cruz may become an also ran after all the "Gotta Get It Firsts" have gotten theirs.

Just a couple of weeks ago you couldn't find a Santa Cruz without a dealer markup.

Now I've seen them at a couple of dealers for $1k below MSRP.
