June was another record setting month for gun sales. Not surprising considering all the riots and looting that month. Amazing statistics!

2.13 million guns sold in one month is an extraordinary number of sales for June. It is a record for the month. Every month in 2020 has been a record, so far. May, June, and July are traditionally slow months for firearms sales. Not in 2020!

According to the monthly estimates, over 10 million firearms have been sold in the first half of 2020. According to my records, it is more than the total number of firearms sold in every year until 2011!

Got my lower today  Finally can get started on the build. Still waiting for the upper to ship. Going to paint the"Safe" and "Fire" before I start the build. I might do the horse logo for Anderson, haven't decided yet. I have seen a few video's where they use fingernail polish. What do you use? I want to NOT screw anything up.

I haven't painted any of mine yet but I do have a couple videos saved for when I decide to. They both use Testers enamel paint but I have seen some where they use nail polish and even a few where they used crayons. I like this method the best and it's super easy to do. I would stay away from wiping with a paper towel because it will leave a lot of lint. The patches seem to work good and one of the comment suggested using a coffee filter to wipe the excess off. Let me know how you end up doing it and how it comes out, you have me thinking about doing mine again. lol

New cz75d pcr. Everything that people say about cz making comfortable guns is absolutely correct and the quality is superb, not a single rattle, the tolerances are so tight. Also on the gun are my new lok grips, which I have not had a chance to shoot with yet.

Nice looking gun,CZ makes great firearms. I love my Scorpion and have wanted to get another one of their pistols. Now that prices are through the roof I'll wait until they come back down if they ever do!

This is much worse than 2008,I don't remember ammo being so expensive. I know some calibers were hard to get (mostly 22's) but 9mm was still plentiful and around 0.25/round. Now I'm seeing it average around 0.34/round and it's still gone within an hour. I haven't been shooting in over a month now as It's been way to hot to shoot here lately. When it's already 90 out at 5:30 am you know it's going to be a scorcher! ?

Very nice. I love my P-01 and it is in my EDC rotation. Love the double action/single action with the decocker. Makes it a great choice. Just wish it was a little lighter......

I reload 9mm for around $.10 cents per round. So glad I don't have to worry about finding, and paying for, ammo now days.

I am in utah temporarily and ammo here is plentiful and priced correctly, I should probably stock up before I come back to arizona.

If prices are still normal there I would stock up with as much as you can get. I'm fully stocked up on everything but 223 but I have a backorder placed which is supposed to arrive in October. I have plenty to get me by for a while but depending on what happens in Nov it could/will get a lot worse. Buy it cheap and stack it deep brother! ?

I was just about to get into reloading when I was still living back east. I actually bought a Hornady Lock n Load press and a few other items like a scale and bullet puller then I decided to move out here so I sold everything. Ammo got reasonable again and not having a basement here really hinders where you can work on your hobbies because the garage is well over 120 in the summer and there's really not enough room for a nice set up.I have to use the center island when I do an AR build or work on my guns and when it's finally nice out here I can clean them out on my patio table so I don't stink up the house. lol

Where we are it gets hot as well (Palm Springs area). Probably not as hot as you though.
We live in a senior community. I put a 10'x14' Tuff Shed that is 100% dedicated to reloading and firearm stuff in the "back yard". Running a 10,000 btu A/C unit works pretty good. There is no way I could get away with it in the house. I am a competitive shooter and normally shoot hundreds of rounds per month.

Here's a good alternative to convert your AR 15 lower into a 9mm. You will need a dedicated 9mm upper but the Stern Defense magwell insert slides right into any standard AR 15 so you don't need a whole lower assembly. I have 3 - 9mm AR pistols and 1 - 9mm 16" rifle which take Glock mags but seeing as parts are crazy priced now this can save a few bucks in converting what you already have and just slapping the 9mm upper on your lower. The only thing you'll have to change out is a heavier buffer (not the spring) for the 9mm to cycle the bolt. They're around $25.00 or this one is great because it's adjustable for $46.00.
