Sorry if its been posted before: Can a the 5D032B 4WD Skid Plate directly bolt to a 2wd? Withour the 5D032A and 5C076?

what’s the cost for the factory sets? I see some off-road ones available.

They're cheaper than any other options I could find.

I placed the order awhile ago, so I don't remember 100%. It was in between $4-$5 hundred for everything (4 or 5 "plates" with the hardware to install). I shopped around to get the best price too.

It can BUT you need different tow hooks. The non 4wd Ranger tow hooks don't have the bracket that the front bolts will bolt to.

If you look at that diagram, there is a bracket/ mounting point that is a part of the 4WD version tow hooks (all one piece). So make sure you get new tow hooks otherwise the front two bolts wont have anywhere to screw into. See below, that little bit that the line goes into is the aforementioned mounting point.

The back two bolts screw right into the cross member on either the 4WD or 2WD so you're good there.

I did too. I have a non FX4, four wheel drive and it came with A. I ordered B, went to install it and found it would not go on over A. I had to remove it.

ford could do a much better job with their parts diagrams - like showing which bolts go with what part and how many are needed and how many are items are in a package like the skid plate bolts show 4 in the picture but if you order it, you are only getting one-- make it easy for us to find parts and spend money!
