Extended warranty for '19 Ranger?

I didn’t think any of the Ranger 2.3s had the block with the saw cut coolant channel! What was the build date?

Something new to worry about now!

Ah OK, in prior vehicles (‘69 muscle cars) we did have true big and small blocks so I thought he was installing a whole different engine ?

California wont even allow you to offer a "warranty". It's insurance. And it's mind bogglingly expensive. I got a quote for mine last week at $5700 bucks for 4 more years or 75,000 miles, but they claimed it was a new car, bumper to bumper type coverage.

Maybe someone can explain the extended warranty offers to me.
2019 Ranger Lariat.
Bought a Ford Protect extended 3yr/36K. It paid for itself after the the A/C Heater Box warped.
Now I have a year left but my mileage is almost up.
So I have been getting barraged by Ford Protect warranty offers.
So here is what I have so far. The Grainger Ford Protect warranty comes with to many options.
36/40K, 48K etc at a fixed price there are many options.
The other Ford Protect ones I am getting are like 36 months at a monthly price.
So which one do I get? Gota get one of them if anything breaks, electronics, trans what ever It pays for it self.
