I want to put a black exhaust tip on my muffler...what size Inlet should I get? 3.inch?

Yes 3 in inlet is correct. I want to get one too but can't find a black chrome stainless steel with the size oulet end I want. Looking for one with a 3 in inlet and a 3 in or 3 1/2 in outlet preferred.

I checked Go Rhino and they have many choices, none being 3 inch inlet and 3 or 3 1/2 outlet. I think the minimum, normally, is going to be that the outlet is one inch more than the inlet.

Ranger takes the 3" inlet. The outlet on my GoRhino Tip is 4".

Here is a thought , just paint the last 16 inches with high heat black header paint . It is easy and it looks good . Did it a year ago still looks ok .

I got this one from Amazon. It's not stainless steel but then it only cost like $29. I did take a Sawzall to the tailpipe and cut off about 8" so you didn't see it inside the tip and painted the rest of the tailpipe black up to the resonator.

Will a 15" length fit on the Ranger without cutting the tailpipe? When I measured from the tip of my tailpipe on the 2020 to the 1st bend, it was about 14?" GoRhino told me that the end of the Exhaust Tip should be about flush with the end of the tailpipe because they are not supposed to be used as an Extension, but a Tip

MIne is a Gibson, its a black ceramic coated stainless steel, heres a link. Mine came with the kit i ordered but you might get lucky and be able to buy just the tip.

That's the same one I have. I do have it sticking out slightly more than that. Looks great and hold up very well!

I really like mine too. I have the 10" length but wish I had gotten the 14" to cover more of the tailpipe. I need to paint the exhaust pipe black above the Tip
