Agreed. I don't wanna risk it for the biscuit. My goal is to get lighter wheels and improve fuel economy. I think therr are better options with the alloy wheels and tires with less sidewall. Apparently, the amount of sidewall flex can increase rolling resistance and decrease MPGs.if it helps, i have a set of the same wheels except the black version. non of mine have have a gap like that or paint issues. i think that wheel has some damage or abnormality. it may not make any difference in how it works. however, losing a wheel or a blow out at speed can cost lives / injury. i would suggest finding another set.![]()
