Dodge Is Cancelling The Hemi V8

Sticker on my scat pack was $48,XXX. Trade in a year and a half ago was $32k and that was after only owning the car for 11 months.

my 2017 Grabber Blue Mustang GT Performance Pack has held its value much better. And is a far better car all around. Dodge does a good job of masking the real Cheapness and corner cutting in thier cars.

So out of curiosity, I just put the 2017 Mustang GT Premium I used to own up against a 2017 Scat Pack Challenger on KBB. Assuming the cars had 45k miles, here are the trade in numbers for very good condition
Challenger: $33,760
Mustang: $30,762

It is very possible that the Scat Pack Challenger with the 392 was a more expensive car so I also ran a 2017 R/T Shaker Couple with the 5.7l Hemi. The trade in for that in very good condition is $31,310.

So, at the very least, KBB does not seem to agree on EXTREME depreciation against the Mustang.
