Do you need to retune with downpipe?

My current truck is Livernois tuned but I have a itch to try to get to 350HP and 400+TQ. So I'm thinking a downpipe and a CAI will get me there. Do I need a special tune for the truck to fully utilize the bolt ons?

After delving deeper into this project and realizing that the downpipes will most likely fail California emission tests in the future. I have decided to scrap this idea.

There is a fix to this!!! Move put of California!! Other states have non emission areas wherr you can get away with certain things and this is one of those things

A fantasy of mine that I day dream constantly. One day it'll be reality. Tired of this state and it's over reaching regulations and taxation.

Cool, your gonna need more than a downpipe to get 350 at the wheels. You will probably have to get an e85 tune or start upgrading more hard parts....like a turbo upgrade.
