First time doing any wiring work
Can someone chime in to let me know i won’t burn down my truck
What i did:
-trigger 4 shooter mounted via Velcro on battery, ran the yellow power through the grommet hood release, and did a micro-2 fuse tap into #37
Magnet mounted the switches in the sunglasses compartment so they are tucked away and flip down when needed , which is my favorite part (holds up well so far)
Everything works great!
My biggest Q is i see 3-4 different locations on both positive and negative terminals i could have run my cables ,
Did i pick the right spots?
Going for:
-a pillar pod lights , i am hoping i can run 2 sets of lights (4 total) off one switch or is that overload ?
- rear spots under the rear window mounted on bed
-CV (down the line)
- open time anything lol
Thank you in advance ! All feedback welcome if i screwed it up i will fix it

Hey Noel;
Did anyone get back to you regarding your build? Is your truck still functioning or did you burn it down (I hope not!):p I was actually searching the site for anyone who may have removed the dash mounted tray. I was wondering what was inside and if it would be a good place to mount light switches. Then I went down a rabbit hole with the Trigger 4 posts. That may fix my wiring whoes. Thats how I got to your post.....
