DIY Internal tool rack Help!

Hello,
I have an ARE CX HD Truck topper, which means it has an internal rack. I want to take advantage of this so designed and built some tool racks for the sides. I could really use some help / ideas on how to mount these to the Aluminum T Slot rack in the canopy? I would like them to latch and release to the sides and possibly slide out for access.

I am including pics here, any ideas on how to OR types of hinges and latches would be appreciated:

I ordered some HD drawer slides and will mount those to the top of the rack, then some hinges. After that I am looking into tailgate latches to secure the bottom.

I installled the drawer slides now just need to attach the tool racks
