Ditch Light Mounts

I’m thinking of mounting ditch light pods on my 2019 CC. Has anyone used these or anything similar. If so, any issues withe the light pods hitting the windshield?

I'm also curious about a firewall pass through for the switch wiring, is there something easy?

Easiest way is to run through the drain plug under the drivers right foot.

I have something very similar on my truck. No issues with lights hitting the windshield but that really depends on what size lights you go with. Had that issue with my last truck so I downsized this time around.

Getting the wires through the firewall is kind of a pain but doable. Getting the firewall wiring harness plug/pass through rubber thing back in is the hardest part. Gotta be careful you don’t tear up the wiring harness when you’re fishing the wire for the ditch lights through. If you take your time and watch what you’re doing, it’s not that hard.

I've got dual pods (Rigid) on mine and have no issues. I went thru a grommet in the firewall when doing the wiring, I used this tool (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073WZCL8Q/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which helped a lot with getting the wiring done.
