Did I just see a Maverick?

Went out at lunch today and on my way back to work I saw a sparkling new ugly looking small Ford truck. I didn't realize there were any Maverick's on the road yet?

They've been out for a few months and are completely sold out.

Ford nailed the Maverick.

Be happy that there are more trucks being made vs them trying to phase them out. We're moving in a great direction where more and more options are proliferating in terms of vehicle choice.

Also, its enough truck for 99% of people's use case. I'm stoked for what the next 5-7 years will bring in terms of powerful trucks that get good gas mileage, or are electric.

Yeah this is true. The gas mileage on them is insane.

Yeah, I’ve seen a couple. Not for me, but I think it looks pretty good. I can see lots of people choosing it over comparably priced small SUV’s.

My daughter checked into getting a Maverick XLT FWD hybrid. Currently a 2yr backorder. Sounds like Ford has another homerun. She likes the pricing, 42+ mpg in town and that it's actually about the size of the original Ranger. One would look good in the driveway alongside the Ranger, Mercury and Mustang.

I just saw my first Santa Cruz out in the wild. Let me tell you the Maverick looks way better. I saw an XLT maverick on my commute the other day and it slightly improved my thoughts on the styling.

Seen a few in the my area as well. But a two year wait is NOT for me. I'm pushing it with the Ranger build. Local dealer gets a few Broncos here and there and same with Mavericks. Not sure if they are spoken for, but looks to me some are actually for sale...im sure at a premium price too.

my local dealership has one. ive been emailing one of their salesmen about ordering a ranger, and he mentioned it. sorry, but i will be cold a long time in the ground before i drive a hybrid

I really wonder how many people would buy the Maverick over a Ranger, just because only a Maverick is available.

If it looked like a Ridgeline it wasn't a Maverick , although we've had Mavericks on the road in my area since last fall and they are ugly.
