Dashcam power from rear view mirror?

I'm looking to install a dashcam and came across this item for a clean install:

Apparently there is a multipin port on the backside of the mirror module that will accept a USB conversion cable. Not sure US Rangers have this port, has anyone been able to access it?

IIRC someone looked and I don't think there is one on ours. I think you can possibly tap into the power wire back there but I didn't want to mess with it. I just ran mine across the headliner, down the A-pillar and used the ODB port for power. They make a ODB power cable so there was an easy instal and there's no messing with the fuses.

I ran my dashcam cable along the overhead panel, down the A-pillar and to the fuse box on the driver side. And an Add-a-Fuse to an existing fuse.

works like a charm, and NO wires to run to your fuse box....
