Installed a Nextbase 222X today. I know its not the best one but it will work for now. I used the Dongar wiring kit that tucks the wiring in behind the rear view mirror. I used a pry tool to pop the corner loose on the upper cover. After figuring out how to tuck the wiring everything fit perfectly fine. It has the rear view camera that snaps into the main unit.
I will try and take some pics to show how it mounts. If you use a Dongar connector the correct one is the three prong one for 2019-2023 models. With the connector there are no wires hanging down. The camera powers down when the vehicle shuts off or it can be set for a longer interval.

nice - if you can put pics up to show where you ran power and where you tapped into??? I also want to add one to mine I wish there was already power up there - dash cams are pretty common now

Go online and search for Dongar dash cam wiring adapter. The newer Rangers (2019‐2023) use the the 3 prong one. Pop the upper cover off and plug in the adapter. No cutting, no splicing. It's all plug and play. The adapter comes with additional USB plugs. It even has the trim pry tool with it. Takes about 5 minutes to do everything.
