Cruise control cuts off on my 2023 Ranger after setting the speed and driving any where from 10 miles to 50 miles and will not resume in fact all control button on left side of steering wheel are dead nothing.

Went over 100 mile this morning and half way down it cut off and drove rest the way up and down on the pedal.
Come out to the truck and got back on the road after sitting about 1 hour and back working cruise control.

This has happened five times in the last week.

Any Idea why it cuts out and then after sitting comes back?

not sure what is going on but sounds like a dealer issue. Hopefully you have a warranty left.

That happens to my truck once in a while. The buttons reset if I shut off vehicle, remove key, open the door, wait 30 seconds, then restart. It's weird. Sometimes it will happen right away, sometimes an hour into a trip. It might have to do with power management (that's my theory), because it depends of how I drove the truck the day before, like quick short trips where the battery does not get a good charge. Before I replaced my battery it would start with the LH steering switches, then shut the radio off....can't drive w/o radio on. Annoying little hiccup

Wow kind of made me laugh as it sounds like a routine to get it to work.
Just wonder if they may have an update on my truck?

Thanks for the information.
