I was hiking through the interior of Corsica once with a bunch of friends when we came across a fish fossil up on the side of a cliff face that we were scaling. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of it.

I delivered mail to curb side boxes for 25 years. I found all kinds of stuff. Lots of tools fall out of work trucks. I have several wrenches, screwdrivers an stuff I've collected. I got a nice 25ft tape measure an an occasional cell phone an occasionally they worked.

I got one of those nice aluminum dollies from a Coca-Cola truck years ago. Was following the truck and the dolly came sliding out of the back compartment it was stored in after a big bump. It hit the road a couple feet in front of me at 50 mph. Bounced over the corner of my hood and landed in a field. I stopped to pick it up. Only a tiny road rash and still in good condition. Almost chased the truck down to give it back but figured it was payment for my brown underpants. I thought it was coming through the windshield at first. Still use it today and it's a heavy duty one.

Pretty sad when you fall over and spill your beer but you control the phone! Just sad!

I was driving out one day to get some groceries and spotted something sitting on a curb near a sidewalk. Stopped and saw that it was a case with nice heavy duty battery cables inside. Waited there for a while to see if whoever left them would return to pick them up. No places in the area to turn them in as a lost item. Carry them in the Ranger under the driver seat.

I have an Ohio license plate from the 1920's I found when walking my dog by the lake. After moving to Va I found a 1940's license plate out deer hunting.

Had a rattle after taking my car in for service and found a pair of channel lock pliers in my wheel well attached to a line
